CALL FOR PAPERS
CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS
This summit is open to people from all works of life, especially scholars, policy makers, practitioners, entrepreneurs, workers in the charity sector, and students. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served as there are only 70 spaces available. To secure your place, please go to the home page of this website and click on the 'Register Now' button.
CALL FOR PAPERS/WORKSHOP PROPOSALS
The conference organisers invite participants to present proposals for workshops as well as abstracts for papers from a wide range of disciplines. The proposals/abstracts should be no more than 200 words and should be sent to Nuala Flannigan (firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than the 30th August 2017. All applicants will be informed of decisions by the first week in September 2017.
The papers should be about 5000 words but can initially be presented at the conference verbally or by powerpoint, and submitted as a full draft two months after the conference. Presenters will have 30 minutes to present the paper and 15 minutes for discussions with participants.
Workshops will last an hour and should be more interactive, hoping to build a bridge between theory and practice, in addressing pertinent issues that explore, in its broadest sense, the nexus between social good and profit.
For those who are not able to physically attend the conference for a number of reasons, it is possible to make an online presentation, either a written presentation or a video recorded one which will be made available on this website and also made available to conference delegates either through printed format or played for delegates during the conference. Those wishing to present this way will also be expected to follow the same registration process.
PUBLICATION OF CONFERENCE PAPERS
The conference organisers will explore the possibility of publishing the papers either in an edited book or a special issued of a peer-reviewed journal.
